Marco Ricca was born in Imperia (Italy) on December 28th, 1982. He received his M.S. degree in Computer and Communication Networks and his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Giaccone, both from Politecnico di Torino in 2008 and 2012.

Luca Chiaraviglio was born in Pinerolo (Turin) in 1983. He graduated from Politecnico di Torino with summa cum laude degree in Computer Engineering in September 2007, and with PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering in February 2011.

Since February 2011, he is a PostDoc fellow at Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino.

Edoardo Bonetto was born in Torino (Italy), on December 28, 1985. In July 2007 he received his Bachelor degree in Information Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. In November 2009, he obtained the Master degree in Telematics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino with a thesis focusing on assesing power consumption of electronic and optical switches. Part of this research work was a contribution to the European network of excellence BONE (funded with the 7th Framework Programme).

He graduated from Politecnico di Torino in Computer Engineering in February 2008 with the thesis ''Application of statistical methods to traffic classification in data networks'' studing the application of the chi-square test and Support Vector Machine - SVM to the classification of the internet traffic.

Delia Ciullo was born in Tricase (LE) on October 13th, 1983. She graduated from Politecnico di Torino with summa cum laude degree in Telecommunication Engineering in September 2007, and with PhD in Electronics and Communications Engineering in February 2011.

Since February 2011, she is a PostDoc fellow at Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino.

Francesco Malandrino was born in Siracusa (Italy) on January 20, 1985. He graduated from Politecnico di Torino summa cum laude degree in Computer Engineering in September 2008. In June 2009, he obtained the Alta Scuola Politecnica diploma.

From October to December 2008 he worked with the Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino in the frame of the regional project VICSUM.

Valentina Martina was born in Turin on August 3rd, 1982. She graduated from Politecnico di Torino with summa cum laude degree in Mathematical modelling in Engineering in July 2007 and she took a PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering in February 2011. Between September 2009 and July 2010 she has been an intern at the Technicolor Paris Research Lab under the supervision of Prof. Laurent Massoulié.

Stefano Traverso was born in Savigliano (Italy) on October 8, 1984. He graduated from Politecnico di Torino in Networking Engineering in November 2008 with the thesis "Design and Implementation of an Integrated Simulator for P2P Video-streaming Application Performance Evaluation".

In January 2009, he joined the TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORKS GROUP at the Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Marco Mellia.
